Rockathon Message
Welcome to Hyderabad Rockathon 2024
Hyderabad Rockathon is being conducted to highlight the importance of preserving our rocks and their heritage. You can find many activities that are themed around rocks. All the activities are safe and even children and beginners can take part in them.
Please be at the Forestrek Park by 7.00 AM. A route map to the venue can be downloaded here and will be available. There are direction signs put up at strategic spots. Please park your vehicles at the designated parking area.
Once you arrive at the Registration Desk list your payment details and hand over the online registration slip and handing over the signed Disclaimer. Once registered proceed to the designated area for briefing and to take part in the various activities of your choice which are being conducted by GHAC and Society to Save Rocks.
Please do not go away from Rockathon's activity area. Do not litter and keep decibel levels low. Smoking and drinking are strictly not allowed. Bear in mind, that we are in the midst of wilderness away from the luxuries of urban life.
Refreshments are not included in the registration fee but will be available on sale. Water dispensers will be at all activity areas. It’s going to be a sunny day so wear light color comfortable clothing. Full pants with sports or canvas shoes are a must for all activities.
We wish you all a fun-filled adventurous Rockathon on Sunday 11th Feb 2024 at the ForestTrek Park. Let’s do more to protect our rocks which are an important part of our Deccan heritage and the environment.
